Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre
This 5,110-square foot facility houses the Canadian head office for Ducks Unlimited and includes a public interpretive centre, a museum, teaching labs and auditorium. The project was completed in 1993 at a cost of $9M, and featured sustainable design elements such as a “green roof” utilizing prairie grass planted roof areas, renewable energy sources and an innovative waste water management system.
